Anyone ever thought of setting up an editorial group and publishing a regular amerturish AQ magazine (be it softcopy or hardcopy) say once every 3 months with articles contributed by members? If it ever take off, maybe we can publish it and sell it to overseas? There will be someone in every other country you can think of waiting impatiently for the next volume of AQ magazine to be published...
I think we have ever considered the idea a few years ago. But we lack the editorial talent and commitment.
Perhaps it's different now. Let's see if there are members who feel strongly about this and can contribute editorial content.
Ideally, it will be a PDF format that can be downloaded from anywhere in the world.

i think it's a great idea. we have many very knowledgeable members here on the forum, and it may be a way to promote certain less known/popular but still facinating aspects of the hobby (emmersed crypt setups and apisto keeping come to mind)
I believe the articles can be contributed by members on AQ about their experience in certian type of plants, certain type of fishes, aquascaping, experiments, DIY projects, field trips, etc (the list goes on). I will post some things when I am free, maybe if we gather enough articles, someone can do some editing and piece all of them together.

June 2008 and July 2008 issues are out too!
