May I know how big is your tank? 30 bubbles per min is not a lot, most of us are at 2-3bps which is 120-180 bubbles per min.
Hi, I'm new to this forum can any member help me figure out what's wrong my co2,I inject from 10 bubble per min to 30 bubble per min still get 6ppm.
here's my water test :
PH 8.3
GK 6 degree
KH 4 degree
I double check the co2 reactor (aqua medic 1000)have co2 go in and dissolve.any idea .I need a quick fix because see some hair alge begin grow.

My tank is 150g.if I increase co2,should I increase 10 bubbles per min step up better or just one time get to that number.
Just set one time will do. The CO2 level in the tank will then build up slowly over the course of the day. Remember to monitor if there's any stress in the fish.
I do not have a solenoid for my setup. So I set the CO2 bubble rate to be about 1 bubble per second or per 2 seconds and run it 24 hrs.

ok, I just increase the co2 1 bubble per second, let's wait 24 hours and test again.
Dont look at bps but rather monitor your fishes and use a drop checker, btw, PH 8.3 with KH 4 is around only 0-5ppm or less. 8.3PH has no scale.
Ken.. do you get ph8.3 water straight out of the tap? or is something in your tank/filter/setup changing the water parameters?
are you using diffuser or reactor?
He is using an AM1000 reactor.
What you need to do is to check for gas leakage and then make sure you have high flow through that reactor as it will retard flow quite a bit as well as the head pressure to fight against. You need enough current to get the CO2 rich water back into the tank and then mix things well with the plants.
