Recently, I notice there are more small snails hanging around on the fern bushes that grow nicely on the woods. Btw, Cherry shrimps make a home in these bushes. I tried to catch them but no avail. Its light beige color body is flat no more than 1 mm thick & 2-3mm in diameter & doesn't seem to craw on the glass wall much.
Please suggest how to get rid of them without removing the fern from the tank.
    Cheers

Small snails? Or flatworms? If it's small snails you might have to use a snail trap, or a dwarf puffer. If you keep shrimp in that tank it might be a problem if you use the puffer or some other fish. I usually manually remove them with a tweezer or my fingers, then I let them dry out to death.

I use Khuli Loach to keep Malayan Trumpet Snails and Ramshorn Snails in check. The loach hide most of the time so it won't bother much if you don't like to see it.

I manually remove them from my tank and feed them to my mollies, as my tank is relatively small 10L.

If you have shrimps, using a snal trap might trap your shrimps as well..but i guess you could manually remove them when you lift the trap.

Thanks for more suggestions. So far I've put in a few Khuliis & never seen them again. I also started to remove them with a pair of pliers. Actually, I don't remove them but just crush them with the pliers.
BTW, what does a snail trap look like ? Any picture ?

You can have a go with Anentome helena as well. The most "in" snail killing machine. Seems to be some in the market now. Should work rather well given the appropriate water parameters.

I'm not sure if it had been imported into Thailand though.
