Hi all, I'm thinking of turning on my solenoid for CO2 either 30 mins or 1 hour before lights on and off them earlier respectively as well instead of all together so the CO2 gets near optimum before lights on. Any comments on which timing is more suitable?

its 1hour before the lights comes on, same for off which is after. You however need 2 timers.

Thanks guys. Set up with just one timer together with lights and co2. I'm worried that if the timer for lights breaks down and only co2 on, by the time I'm back from work...

Its not too critical to have co2 on before lights come on, having a separate timer only casters to this. When my lights goes off, co2 doesnt shut off completely and is still being diffused for about 20mins.

I have only one timer which control both CO2 and light. I have kept it this way for over 1 year and I never saw any visible problem with growth.
is Keeping separate timings really crucial for good plant growth?
