    Hi Bro,

Recently had finish scaping my 2 ft tank while waiting for my plant to creep i'm thinking of what schooling fish should i be putting in?

As it will be housing a pair of discus or angel fish which is around 5 inch in size. As i had just sell of my candinal tetra i think i would not be getting it back hence need to ask which other choices of schooling fish will be ideal?
    thinking of getting 30 pieces

thank for all the suggestion given in advance

    NB,
Your using back your old medias with already BB cultivated?

With rescape we should leave tank in cycling status for at least a couple of weeks more.

There is a post recently where we polled on the best schooling fishes, you can find it here.

Personally I think a pair of 5" Discus or Angel inside a 2ft tank is a little stretched.

Do you have a pix of your tank? I believe the best is to based our recommendations on your current tank. It's all about "harmony" in the end of the day

I agree with Jervis. Adult discus requiress 10 gallons of water each. Other you may stunt their growth.

Ok thank for all bro advice actually only feel like having the pair in it at first but feel it look too plain hence think of adding some schooling fish.

Currently the pair is in another holding 2 ft empty tank waiting for the transfer. I using a old filter hence it should not have any problem with the BB.

At the same time i'm still waiting for some grown in the plant before transfering the fish back, thank for all the concern and advice bro had given will note not to crowd the tank.

I have 20 espei (about 2 cm long) in 2ft tank, and I feel overcrowded. I drop it to 15 and it is look better but of course it is depend on the individual and the tank scape. My personal opinion Discus in 2ft will make your tank look small. especially when it is 5 inches

Yup agree with Shadow, I have a 3feet tank and only 11 espei with the biggest fish as the puntius densonii which about 7-8 cm long and there is 2 of them. Already I am not too adding in more livestock. You should reconsider.
