haha glad your bitaeniata is turning out so beautiful richard! my deceased male has left its legacy! your picture alone is tempting me to clear a tank to get back into bitaeniata rearing![]()
yixiang, Eugene,
From the beginning I was hesitant to get the bitae because I feel that they don't have much color. Boy, how wrong was I! The finage sure made up more than the lack of color.
And not to mention this guy loves to flare.![]()

Richard your bitaeniata's dorsal is impressive. How large is your male now? I hope mine grows up to be just as nice.
haha told you bitaeniata was one of the more beautiful species richardwhen you got yours the colour was only just starting to show hence it looked abit colourless...plus the tank it was in had no background so it looked washed out against the bright background
hmmm should i sell my elizabethae to make space and import a pair of nice bitaeniata?![]()
chongyu,
my male bitae is about 1.5" (body), not that big yet. I am sure your's will be just as nice, same parents mah.
yixiang
your elizabethae also very pretty leh, never mind lah, out of 3 pairs you sold I am sure at least 1 pair will breed and you can buy back the offspring (F3).
