Andy, it is not from Biotope. But it belongs to Scope who brought back from Taiwan.

Yorky, I have a gut feeling Eugene might use 2 to 3 slave flashes

The full orange face of this specimen is seldom seen. Which makes this specimen a great one! Thanks Scope for lending me for the shoot.

I didn't take the female from Scope. You have Ap. sp. miua too right? Shoot the female. Then we can combine the pictures and do a profile of this specie in the forum.

For these shots, i used only 2 flashes.

    Eugene,

This is a very nice male. I've seen it for myself at Joe's house. Nevertheless, I got a separate pair whereby the male is younger and the female has orange anal fin (highly recommended by Joe).

By the way, has anyone ever bred this species locally yet?

Thanks Genes for taking such good photos on the MIUA....only good photos will clearly bring out the beauty of the fish.
    Thanks for the efforts.

    Hi bro,
this fish (Orange face type) is from another different wild batch that i recently bring in
... the one you get got orange at anal fin...even on the males too... from all other 6pcs i brought too. i guess these differences are found in MIUA from slightly different location of collection.

Are you taking photo on your pair too?

    Hi Joe,

I don't have photography gadget to take any photos to show you.

Nevertheless, the orange face "Miua" is sort of nicer than my orange arse "Miua".

Your usual fare of planted tank fishes will be fine.
