im quite sure its not peacock moss, based on the aquamoss net alone its totally difference. i think its either anchor moss or maybe uncle richard brought in a new moss and he called it spider moss?

according to the LFS, they call it as "big taiwan triagle moss"

There is no way to ID for sure the moss you have based on the pictures provided. A lot of mosses can look the same under various conditions.
And don't trust the regular lfs to provide accurate IDs either.

Some other things you can look out for include the texture, growth rate and temperature it tolerates.

    Hi,
i have this type of moss.. have been looking around for the ID as well. I have bought this moss over at one of the Taipei's LFS at the Ming Chuen East road(5th section) aquarium street one year ago. The shop owner then told me it was a triangular moss. It makes sense to know it now as 'Big taiwan triangle moss'

Mine was very similar to pinchboyz's moss growth and shape.. However, it might be due to varying tank conditions that your (threadstarter's moss) looks a bit different from the pictures here.

Otherwise, a beautiful moss with compact growth.

    Cheers!
