Look like they like their new home.. Sooner or later they will spawn for you.

Err... my tank is really ugly, consists of one bog wood and some cheap crypts ( as they grow well under my "tough" environment ), gex substrate and 1 hang on filter.

Not sure about the spawning behaviour of trifasciata, but i suspect the female has spawned. The male has suddenly calmed down overnight, no longer swimming anxiously around the female's cave. Female will not leave the cave too long and no longer chased/afraid of the male.

My cave was made with indian clay lamp. Even with a torch, still can't see inside. Also, the entrance was placed facing the inner side of tank.
Not so yellowish or vivid, but judging from the behaviour. Anyway, still not sure, will know by next weekend.

This bugger very good at digging crater, make himself a huge hole under the bogwood.

Like the bluish color ( pardon the lousy shot) all over his body

Finally confirmed that the female has spawned. Saw whole brood of free swimming fries resting on the roof top of the cave. Strangely, the female then started to have the bright yellowish color, and she only take in bbs, not the usual micro wafer and bloodworms.

The poor male has been in-prisoned inside a breeder box.

    Update

One month old fries, about 1cm, good even growth rate feeding with live bbs.

Male isolated from female to prevent more breeding. Female still in yellow dressing, think anytime can breed.
