    Hi,

I'm using the above mentioned for less than 6 months & now is getting very noisy (cracking sound). Would like to replace the blower inside the unit.

Anyone knows where can I get the replacement part? I went Sim Lim Tower to search but the smallest available is bigger than the original part.
    Cheers,
    U.K.Lau

Finally, I found one in Sim Lim Tower 2 days ago .

From the look, I know that it is not a brand new fan. It must had been taken out from some equipment. On the other hand, this fan is much stronger compared to the original fan. Cost me SGD13.50 .
    Cheers,

, it is like tornado in my tank.

Must be prepared to top up more water on daily basis. The noise generated is also louder. Despite these, I still feel that this is a much better designed fan compared to the new model.

Hi Ben, did you use parts from the new fan to repair your Mr Cool 200 or modify the new fan to use?

    Chong Yu,

I just replaced the blower (right item in my first photo, with the yellow sticker), which is enclosed in the original casing (left item in my first photo).

Don't know where else can we buy the blower with this size. I bought the only one I can locate in Sim Lim Square.
    Cheers,
    U.K.Lau

Your replacement fan should be pretty strong. Looks like its creating a whirlpool right in the mid of your tank.

Wow, I have to top up 1.5 liter daily for a tank with 1 feet square surface area, almost double the amount I topped up before .
