    Are they a kind of rock (as i had initially thought) or are they merely cement ("Ang Mo Hei" in the Hokkien Language) pieces

    most I seen are rocks. they have grains and marks on it. Not as smooth as cement

    Specially manufactured with Cement? I bought 4 bags of Slate recently and they have a layer of cement like powder that came out when I washed them
