Anywhere to recommend fish tank with cabinet?

Hi bros,

I'm looking at buying a 2ft tank with the cabinet stand to house external filter and co2 set. Any place to recommend for value for money or at least have a large variety?

well is it advisable to get these cabinets from LFS. or we should DIY, meaning finding cabinets from local furniture stores etc and match it with the tank we want. what say you.

If budget permits, custom make one to fit your room. Also, cabinet from custom made ones are better than those mass produced ones.

65, pasir ris farmway(if i remember correctly) its the one on the left where got a slope going up... so far i think their cabinet+tank package is quite reasonable... with quite many choice...

But then of course, like what others mentioned here, custom is the best

just got to take note of the size you design must take consideration of the accessories that you want later.. eg, lighting length, etc...

Is it tropical fish farm or something? I've been there before and i think they specialise in tanks with cabinets. However, not sure if that's the place with the best price.

aquastar also have several 2FT tanks with cabinets, rainbow has a corridor full of them. If you cant find something suitable, you can check the follow customs from -

sorry i really can't remember the name and I am not sure what road name is it(although I had been staying in pasir ris for more than 10 years and I go there almost very other week :P) but its something like this: the road into the wafer-fab(UMCI, Sotec) go all the way turn right, then all the way turn left, then you see one small river on your right, afterwhich the first LFS on the left.. just go up the slope...

the cabinet+tank there I don't think is custom made. Its direct from some agent but the choices is pity good. I won't say the price there might be the best but at least it is better than quite a few big LFS when I did my survey some time back...

You could try this guy whom i go for most of my stuff...bought one 4 ft from him 10 years ago and the tank is still rock solid...no leaks no nothing...

He has a few custom made tanks with cabinets ...ranging from approx $700 for a 4 ft tank with cabinet onwards

he is a friendly dude..no hardsell nothing....

Custom making a 2ft tank seemed a bit too extravagant for me.
2ft tanks are pretty much quite standard size and should be easily available. The few LFS

Is this going to be a permanent setup or are you just testing out with a smaller tank with plans to upgrade in the future? If so, no sense going for custom made one in my opinion.

This is going to be a permanent one. At least for the next couple of years. I tried CR aquarium and they quoted me $280 for a tank of 60x30x35 (cm) and height of cabinet, 80cm. Will probably go down to take a look

IMHO, you'll never go wrong by choosing CR aquarium, provided that budget is not a constrain.
