Hi, does anybody know which LFS is selling glass shrimps. A picture of the shrimp can be found in Jason's home page (http://www.nature-aquarium.com/aquascape.htm).
Thanks.

I am a bit confused.
I thought those feeder shrimps are called ghost shrimps?
The mosqitoes shrimps looks similar but with a slight different in colour?

FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.
yes, just saw one in one of the NA's tank today. Look a bit like ghost shrimp tho. Be careful if u add those feeder shrimp into the tank with expensive shrimps of same or smaller sizes. The ghosts are killers!
below is a pic from homepg of CH TEO:

hey lorba..u were there at NA also? i was there around er...afternoon...ard 3pm i think...
u one of the 2 guys there?
the ghost shrimps here are one of two type of shrimp we can get. Ghost shrimp and Amano Shrimp. Both these shrimps are £5 each..that is $14 SGP...
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.
Morph3us, that's just my own experience. Before i learnt of any other shrimps, i added 2 packets of ghost shrimps into my tank (ard 50). They seem to attack fishes when they are resting near plants or the bottom. I guess they thought that its a dead fish. Lately, saw some attacking malayan and bee shrimps. They are also really good at sensing sinking pellet meant for cories. Before the cories even smell anything, the ghosts are already air lifting the pellets to the deeps of jungle. Regreted that i did not flush them out completely. The only good thing about these shrimps is that they clear up dead bodies and leave over food for you, leaving you skeletons. They are also good at cleaning up the moulted shells laying around.
Avant: i was there around 12 to 1pm, carried my tank hood down alone. Shouldn't be me.
Mez, that's expensive. Maybe you can ask some friends here to air mail you a few big packs of ghost shrimps?

they are kinda cheap, so if you get a 1000pcs, at least few hundred would survive?
