the rock is Mosura Old sea mud.
    Below is from assaaqua website.
In Japan, Old Sea Mud (ミロネクトン) is used as a popular and safe natural additive for crystal red shrimp, red bee and other shrimp tanks.

    It has functions of:

    Increasing good bacterial activities
    Improving water quality
    Deodorizing unwanted smells
Reducing the number of water changes
Re-mineralization of tank water for shrimp, fish and planted tanks.
