Custom Soil is from Nisso brand....the soil in brown colour....
Have not use that brand before. Maybe some other bros can share their experience.

Nisso is the jap brand, jervis reviewed their stone collection in Japan a few weeks back. But ive not come across customed Nisso soil. Where did you find them??
i got it from That Aquarium...is in purple color packeting and the soil is in brown in color

Think it is just the commercial name of the soil "Custom Soil". Spotted packs of it in LFS around Yishun when I popped by recently. Think it is similar to Ada or Gex.

There is Nisso custom soil in Black colour for shrimps. I saw this at some LHS too.
i'm using the custom soil for my cherry's. but well, a far cry from crs in terms of how sensitive they can be to acidity. but well, my cherry's are doing fine. planted petite nana and hairgrass, rather hardy plants. so i think it will do good for plants.
