yes they are=D i think it costs less than 2 bucks per piece=D
but im not too sure if they have any left though..
i just bought three at C328 last week
My HighLand Terrarium, planting carnivorous plants and orchids
c328 is at Clementi Block 328. It's near Clementi MRT station. Hope tis helps =) . Good luck on your clams
cool! thanks bro! will be heading there after my meet up with my ex-classmates
Clementi Avenue 2 Blk 328. Considered the most 'happening' LFS in the west. Check the LFS directory. Saturdays are super packed, closed on Sundays. Or if you are heading north, Yishun ring road Blk 618.
beware of custome bro .. cause i remember no livestocks should cross borders. Unless you drive, then shouldnt be a problem provided u hid it well
How are the new 'citizens' of Malaysia. Hope the relocation went well.
I discovered those small clams in lower seletar reservoir, there are literally hundreds of them per square meter at low water line. I have no idea how they got there, they weren't there 10years ago.
wow! but too bad reservoir cant go there to collect maybe somebody must have threw them there, these Asian fresh water clams is kinda a double edge sword, in the US its a pest due to good breeding and less predator, they clog up sewers and water ways but if under control they can be good filters of water.

I see people fishing there, even watersports. I collected some specimens, looks the same kind as those sold at the lfs, although i am no expert. There is also another freshwater clam but much larger, those I have seen those 10yrs ago. If you are coming to Singapore, do give me a call, I will show you where it is. The mts and trapdoor snails in the reservoir looks very different as well.
Woot! than maybe we can have a field trip sure can go there to do collecting? afriad i might not be able to pay the fine ( if get caught ) hehehe!
I doubt there is a fine, or if there is that it is enforced. Just 10 mins from my house, I can get some some for you if you "too scared". Do msg me if you are coming to Singapore, I constantly log on.
Sure bro, once i get my tank settle in 1st, i will go in again , now i am doing a DIY climate control to control the temperture in the tank from 24-26 degrees, cos i dun wanna harms the fishes and plants.
than i need to setup another quarantine tank for the wild clams, dun wanna harms my plants or fishes, when introduce to the main tank.
will pm you when i am done.
