i doubt it as mechanical, electrical or electronic parts will fail after a period of use.
as for the chiller, there are basically 2 types, thermoelectric cooling or compressor/refrigerant type.

well, what's the mtbf for most chillers?


thermoelectric cooling less moving parts, avg. 2 to 3years, parts are cheap, only normal A/C computer fan.
compressor/refrigerant more moving parts, Once a year you need to change the fan, may cost 100+ per service, not include refrigerant top up.
Anyway, all these systems need reguraly maintainance to prevent down time. Same as car lah.....just my own view only.....![]()
