    Hi all,

I have some questions and I hope any kind souls can help me.

    (1) I saw some stones in Fort Canning Park and I'm thinking if those stones can be place in tanks for Apisto or other fishes like tetras??
    (2) I saw in some threads that they use coconut husk as Apisto hideout place. Can I use those coconut husks (no flesh, dried up ones) that can be found in the parks too?? Can I soak them in boiling water for 2-3 days and use them for the tank??
    (4) Can I use those clay pot that can be purchased at Little India??
    (3) Which LFS selling coconut husks or breeding caves??

I know my questions are sort of stupid and funny. Hope anyone can help me in this.

    Many thanks.

    Warmest Regards

For stones, it would depend on what kind of stone it is... most local granite is ok, but certain kinds of stones can alter the pH of water, so its best to acsertain what kind of stone it is first.

c328 sells coconut husks covered with moss every now and then, you could go down to take a look

If you want to know if stones will leech mineral and change PH, just do a vinegar soak, if you find bubbles then i would advise not to use them.
