...I love rubies too ...

Not hear of him till now......but yeah,.....kind of similar. I can make things out of clay so can do almost anything i desire....just trying out some samples.
Here you see the similarities in theme from one of Oliver Knotts' work.

mostly free hand......moulds only if repeats are needed. yes I have already looked him up already.

My Apisto Keeping Diary
Apistogramma agassizii, Apistogramma bitaeniata "Careiro", Apistogramma brevis, Apistogramma elizabethae, Apistogramma eremnopyge, Apistogramma sp. "Miua", Dicrossus filamentosus
you are the artist![]()
How about having an opening for the Apisto to hide?![]()
omg, u created that buddha head? it's impressive.Perhaps can adopt a more Ruins Theme, artificial cracks in your work, aging, etc. E.g. a sunken Angkor Wat.
Interesting
This is just a tester,...jus to see the layering, appearance etc. am planning to do a variety of scapes,....perhaps for an upcoming exhibition![]()
no need for artificial cracks,...there a firing technique where you can create cracks on the ceramic piece...
Fantastic Job!!
I like the theme though...

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
Thanx Sailfin,...will definately try out differant themes through time. But the Apistos do not share the same feeling though,...always hiding amongst the greenery....![]()
