    Hi,
do let us know your fertilising regime, lighting hours.. etc before we can suggest solutions for help.

It would be good to snip off the yellowed leaves/ rotting leaves lest they affect your water parameters and cause problems to your shrimps.

    Cheers!

2 hours a day, defenetly not enough for most of plants. Does it receive direct/indirect sun light? How many watts is your light?

    Hi,
for moss...generally it will be good if water temp is around 28 degrees or less (depending on types of moss). Moss generally prefer cooler waters to do well and show their beauty. A PC fan can do the job quite well, but during warm temperatures like last week.. there's only so much a fn can do to cool down the tank water.

In addition, do consider adding liquid fertilisers to your water as well... so that your moss can absorb the nutrients for growth.

Since your light intensity is rather low, you can choose not to inject CO2. However, adding Florish Excel will provide a good carbon source for your moss.

Hmm, what shrimps do you have?

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers!

You should read around more on starting a new planted tank.

Most of the information can already be found on this forum. Just do a search and you can find out the information on lighting regime, ferts, substrate, etc.

It is discouraging when you suffer losses due to inadequate knowledge. But it can be prevented by reading and knowing more before you even start!
