Oh no, the water crisis is looming if this is going to be a reality. When humans have a cheap source of energy, they always abuse it until something nasty happens.
Imagine I can keep the water from my routine water change to fuel my car, isn't it great.

well it can use any water including sea water. IT is aboudant and I don't think it can be control.

It said that no extenal power is needed, so my guess is using nano tech to seperate the electron.
