Watch it here... kinda short but just thought videos more fun.
Glad to have found a site with so more aquascaping people, feel free to comment. Still got lots to learn
Neglected My tank for a couple of weeks and it got all messed up in march.
Decided to replant the HC and clean up the rest of the plants.
Added some rocks too... for a change...
Found out the rocks might be limestone based cause my KH went up the roof and had to take emthem out
HC are growing well.... kinda slow i guess but lease it is creeping well after i added the MH lighting. Also changed to a new filter... It works sweet but really dundon't like all the pipes running all over the tank.
Close up of HC(Scroll above and you can see the HC i replanted was just a few stubs here and there.

Hi Bubberls!
Your tank looks really nice and healthy.
Is that plant with a long, hammered leaves a type of Crinum?
I think by adding a small, green plant at the base of the driftwood, would really make the tank even better. Maybe some anubias 'nana'
Keep updating!
Nice looking tank. Like the wood as the centerpiece. Has the feel of an almost dead tree with lots of other plants on it. Very natural in my opinion. But the lotus on its right seems to be stealing the focus. Maybe change them to some lower plants?
Cheers,
Sean
Yup its a Crinum calamistratum. I had a Madagascan lace plant at the base previously but it melted....most prob it died due to the high lighting. nana's cannot take strong lighting too yah? or am i wrong cause i really want to add some dwarf nana's
yah thats right... been trying to prune it so the leaves dont grow so big but it seems its on some steroids and the leaves and always so huge... many plantlets or baby plants what ever you call em. those are nice and small...
Any advice on how to keep plants small and stubby?
Yes you got it right on Nana... but you can place them nearer to the "tree trunk" shaded by the branches above![]()
tks Thanks for the info cause am trying to clear the equipment clutter in the tank and it seems lily pipe can help replace the rainbar and skimmer... now just looking for an external co2 reactor as i hooked up my old diffuser to use with the psudopseudo lily pipe but the co2 levels vary quite a lot. I got it hooked to a ph controller and co2 has to kick in quite often.
