Guess one would have to work closely with the tankmaker during the construction of the tank. I love the overflow concept of the main tank.... searching for empty corner in my place.

It's quite a simple concept really, 2 holes were drill on the base, 1 in the outer tank for inlet into the filter below, another in the inner tank for outlet, water flow out at the bottom and overflow at the top to the lower tank etc...
Noticed the woods, these were cutted and glue to the outer tank... would be interesting to see his rankings if he submit this to the ADA 2008.

Apparently he did submit for 2007 but was unplaced.
people are adverse to new ideas... if too foreign.. they simply don't know what to do with it.
it is probably very difficult to change the scape, take out all those glued branches
