Hi to all AQ members. I just fell love with the planted tank at my friend's place. Just seeing it gives you a feeling that you are in a different platform. Watching the fishes and the beautiful landscape can mesmerize you for hours without realising the time. I will definelty set up one in due course.
I am glad that there are good people like yourself and many others out here who are helping others in this section. Giving advise and narrating their experience whether professional or amature certainly makes alot of difference.
I have surfed the web on information for planted tanks and in my opinion, AQ is on the top with some of the rest.

But, yes, do research for ideas and what it takes to set up a tank.
One main point for your consideration is how much time are you willing to spend on maintenance.
Some take the least effort route while othe don't mind some lots of time since they take it as therapy!
