Have a newly bought co2 with electronic solenoid, plug in last night and wasnt exactly sure was it working.

I turn on the cylinder valve and follow by the solenoid valve, I can see lots of bubbles coming out of the outlet but it slowly turn into a trickle and then to one bubble at a time before stopping altogether, also I notice the meter plunge to 0 and the liquid in the bottle (no idea what this is called) which was about half filled previously but almost depleted now, I am fairly certain the cyclinder is in good working order but rather I am lost as to how to get it to work.

Thanks in advance for any useful guidance.

Turn on the "tap" or main valve on the cylinder. The chances is that it is not turn on.

Always check for leaks after tightening your regulator down with a sponge and dishwashing liquid. Spread the faom around and look carefully for bubbles. Does the cylinder feel lighter than before?

Some strength is needed at times depending on the valve (some might be a tad tighter) but make sure you turn the right direction. Now, why didn't you ask the shop how to use it when you obviously have no clue?

Just be careful as you are dealing with high pressure stuff and can hurt you if you are not careful.

they did explain but it is cos of the fear of dealing with pressure stuff that I am hesistant to use any amount of force, thanks it is working now.

what brand is your co2 injector system?? anyways most of them are basically the same. you should have two gages in your manifold- one is actual bottle pressure (it should be around 800-1000 or so psi when freshly charged. the other gage is the output pressure. if the first gages does not read high pressure turn the main valve slowly untill the needle reads so, then slowly turn the output knob untill the needle is barely lifted from its rest (zero psi to around 5psi), now turn the needle valve (only if you have this in your setup ) untill your desired bubble count shows.
