    hi guys,

i've just bought the above mentioned food for my apisto. problem is i found out that the size is too big. how do you guys normally feed them with this? crush them and feed? my tank is planted with gravel and sand. i tried crushing it and leave it in my tank. noticed that the fishes couldn't see it.

I got the Thera A 1mm pellets. Don't find it too big for my Apistogramma though. The first few times you feed them might not recognise it as food. But since they are substrate sifters by nature they'll get to the sunken pellets eventually. Over time they'll recognise it. My Apistogrammas even come up to the surface to get to the pellets now.

though im not feeding NLS to my boraras, i am using a pair of tweezers and crushing each hikari pellet before feeding them. I usually feed them 3x pellets per day, so you roughly know how come i take 20mins to fish my fishes. hehehe.

You can check the label for the pellet size. Mine is 1mm, gotten from Aquastar in Yishun.

Hi.. I didnt recalled seeing any NLS TheraA got different measurements.. But I guess the one limchongyu bought is also the one I bought as all my apisto never find any problems feeding on them.. The only problem is whether do they want to take the food or not.. Not sure if there are smaller size grains for TheraA..

This is. TheraA formula ranges from 0.5mm, 1mm, 3mm to 6mm. I'm not sure whether all these sizes are available in our local market though. But I've gotten the 1mm ones.

"Non-Medicated Anti-Parasitic 1 mm Sinking Pallets" is stated on the top lining above the label (for the 80g packaging). I am not sure why the size is not mentioned in the NLS website for Thera small and regular packagings.

Besides, isn't the bottom of the packaging transparent? So you can actually check the size of the pellets by turning it upside down, no?
