HOT5 Vs PL light

I am new to HOT5 light.Previously only use PL light before.Can kindly let me know the different between the two. Does HOT5 light more electricity comsumption?
Which brand is recommand?

in terms of the spread of light, T5 HO is preferably to PL. For example, previously when using a PL light, stem plants on the corners of my tank are bending towards my PL light while growing. The concentrated light provision by PL will mean that plants in not in the 'direct line of light' might not grow as well. T5 to me, acts like a FL but with better light intensity and won't produce too much heat as compared to PL and FL.

I'm not sure about the electricity consumption though. I'm using a HOPAR brand T5HO. There are a range of T5HO available, from china made to the high-end... depends on your budget.
