warm light for plant tank?

just wondering instead of using day day, can i use warm light?

Yes you can as long as it's a wide spectrum tube. In fact, some aquatic suppliers (e.g Arcadia, Dennerle Trocal 3085 etc) also supply warm plant tubes cos some people prefer them.

acc to dianne walstad, cool light is best, can't rem why tho.something to do with the spectrum preference. (If I'm not wrong--> disclaimer... LOL)[]
