28 degree isn't that bad.
How is you fertelizer regime? light level? tank size? substrate?
I've planted a couple of new plants in my aquarium.
Sorry, forgot the names but I observe something about my plants but they ain't moss.
The new plants seem to turn brown instead of green. There is 1-2 holes in some of the leaves.
Is it because the tank's temperature is too hot for them? Mine's at 28 degrees and I'm trying bring it down ot 27 degrees or below.

I've got 2 x Amazon lights (25W) and 2 x Tropical Deluxe (25W) lights for my 3ft tank. The substrate are Azoo soil? I was told that it's something that will provide fertelizer for plants.
Could be potassium deficiency. Check out this Link.

I don't think it's potassium deficiency.
I've added solutions which contains all sorts of minerals, including potassium.
Maybe I didn't add it after the water change. I've added a dosage and see if it works.
My new mosses are getting brown...
I believe that the temperature has got to do with it.
Other than that, my other plants seems to be fine.
Believe its temperature. Im keeping my tank at around 27 degrees as well, same fert dosing regime, co2 and lights. But seems over the past week or so, ive beginning to notice their tips turning brown. Same with moss as well.
Your temperature is fine. I have pinholes in some of my plants in the past especially frogbits. I solved my problem by doubling my potassium dosage. Try it out and see. Just potassium and no other ferts.
Moss have a grow-in period when introduced into a new tank. Give it some time to adapt.

Lights being too high can burn some plants can they not. I have a java fern on my DW and when my lighting was too high when i first started they would turn brown and die, and the new leaves would grow half the size.
Since then i rectified the problem, although the new leaves still grow half the size, about 3-4 inches instead of the usual 8 inches or so.![]()

That might be because your fern adapting from emerse to submerse form.
Its been in my tank for 3 yearsAnd still it creeps slowly across the DW with small leaves. I'm at a loss, it looks alright. It would just look better if it flourished instead of just surviving. Y'know?
