\Ggrr...would you give Fujifilm a miss? Its known for its low light and vibrant pictures too...
I have F31fd and it rocks!! heheh...
What do you intend to use with this cam? Point and shoot? Holiday cam?
Hi all, I am considering the following cameras.
1. Cannon S5 IS
2. Nikon P80
3. Olympus SP-570UZ
4. Panasonic FZ-18
5. Sony DSC-H50
Which one is a better choice? Or are there better models that I missed out? My budget is from $600 to max $850+-.
Any info will be great. Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Fujifilm? Is it good? Will go find the review for it. I would like something that can take good low light pics. Mostly use for point and shoot and ya you are right, for my coming trip to downunder hehe...

I think Canon has the best upgrade options. You should be able to use Canon flashes or ST-E2 with eTTL IIRC.
get g9 loh... haha...
nikon also not bad.. jsut that if you get canon.. your current gear can use with it as well.. good what right?
Other alternative is the olympus.... if taking any underwater shots.. i love olympus.
Here's what Fuji has to offer...

I'm looking for a budget camera as well. Seems the review for a470 is good, but like the 580, it doesnt come with image stability, just motion detection..
