After many years of trimming and trimming, I got pretty tired and decided to rip away this tank and give it a new look. P1000657-s1.jpg

This is now how it look like. P1000730-s1.jpg .
Only with mosses and ferns/bolbitis/mini nanas/japanese hairgrass. Easier to maintain. Now on the 2nd month.

    Specs:
standard 2ft tank with 36W light.
    GEX soil.
    with CO2 injected.
    Temp: 25deg with chiller.
Resident...crs of course...pretty cool to see them swimming around, hopping about the branches...like fairies.

    Care to comment? Thanks...

I was surprised to see that the hairgrass can grow pretty well under the 36W lighting. I only use a pot to try out. Initially I thought of using the old hc on this tank but I think it won't do well under this lighting. So I gave it away. Anyway, thanks for all the comments...
