2 feet tank, 28 neons
they been there for more than a month
problem arise recently only![]()

have to check on your water perimeters. also try installing a timer to your lightings. even we humans would get stressed if the sun suddenly rises at midnight right?
right now i remove the lights and off
its hot and a bit troublesome but worth it

						Hi,
this is Heiko Bleher and there are normally two possiblilies why your cardinals are timid:
1. They have something (sickness, like white spots coming or bacterial infection), or
2. there are some fish in the tank they cannot accept, or which make them turn this way.
remember cardinals are group fishes and live in shallow habitats, were there are no strange species or predators (keep them only with their correct mates).
Advice from a collectors (see also my website: Expedition Aracá
