Rescaped tank needs ideas/comments.

i had an itchy pair of hands 2 days ago. Rescaped tank. Need some ideas of what can be improved. Critics and comments are welcomed.

true true.... I'm hopeless. Thought of waiting for the Diandra to outgrow the red plant. Duh...i've no idea at all. That's why i'm asking for comments. Thanks bro!

So must i remove the BW?

well, in My opinion, you can remove the BW, and remove the ferns too, they are too distracting. choose one foreground plant, and spread it evenly.. You should also decide what your focus is, then work towards it, and remove others that will distract people away from your focus.

just my opinion. looking forward to see more updates to your tank.

had a mini rescape last week...after the suggestions..so this is how it looks like

The left too bare although i've some stargrass waiting to creep over the rock..

It may look bare, but given time to mature it'll look good. Tanks always look bare when rescaped, takes 2-3 months to start looking at their best.

these pair is hand fed by me I would pinch the food and dip my fingers into the water. these two would nibble at my finger, thinking its food.. My cardinals and SAE would also do the same too.... heheh... the rummies very shy...

Platies are on plants diet too? Have never seen any of them nibbling the plants though

Plant mass is appropriate for the tank, taking into account the large moss backdrop. May want to fill up the mid and foreground to complete the scape. The red plants on the right are Rotala rf or rotala M ?

This isnt the tank you are using the illunmax right? Looks abit dark.

Bro Torque6 Veteran....thanks for your comments and ideas bro Looking to spread the bare frontal with Dwarf HG or maybe HC. How abt Marselia Hirsula ( i dunnoe how to spell name correctly)? How abt the Mid Ground?

The red plants are Rotala Macandra (i think). Based on close up pictures from my plant book it says so.. I could be awfully wrong though

Rotala M, need high light, your tank abit dark. May have problems later. I wanted to do a marsilea hirsuta lawn as well in my new setup, but have no idea where to get it. They said c328 have, but the pics i posted, most bros said it could be, bacopa. However, ive read from Aro that emmersed form Hirsuta have red stems so... possible. Ive checked with mizuworld, still no such plants listed. But far east have, 1 pot = $15

What is your intention for this tank ? low or high. You've got spare HC from your other tank is it ? Can migrate over, save money lol. Btw, noticed you have larger grained soil. Personally i am using the gex larger grain soil. red pack, and like verminator mentioned HG creeps rather slowly. I have some runners which stayed under the soil for weeks because they were trapped... Not sure if this is true for the rest of us here on AQ.

Oh i forgot to reply you. the light is already built-in,..but i need to add another PL. there's 2 ..can't remember wats da wattage of each. My Illummax is for my 1ft...getting a customised hanging stand for it like this one... http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=37818 My HC in my 1footer having small plantlets already hopefully i can transfer them into my 1.5ft tank...

I tawt of getting marsilea hirsuta too but u told me Ben don't carry it so might change plans.... A pot for $15 hhhmmm....maybe not now, not for this setup, not for this month, not for...
