i miss out an important step
need to cut or drill holes for ventilation
anyone care to help pm me
i do not have the required tool and skill
thanks a million
Swap light set from Case A to B
NB: Case A is boarder than B
Put the fan into Case A
Drill 4 small holes and secure it using cable tie
is this doable?
any expert staying in the west willing to take up the challenge?
if need be, will be paying a token sum(neg)
thanks for viewing and enjoy your long week end![]()

This is rather easy... want me to help?? Funny because those are my fans..haha..
do you think is doable plus workable? will be more than happy if you can help me but is it convenient?
by the way thanks for the fan again...![]()
Yeah.. the idea is generally feasible... can give it a try.. no harm anyway... my house has tons and tons of salvageable stuff we can use... bits and pieces of scraps here and there.. a result of too much diy..haha.. let me know when you want to do this..![]()
hmm. have you considered using PVC trunking to fabricate this? should be much easier considering you will not need a jigsaw or a powertool to cut thru the metal on your light case?
oh and the power connector for the fans look interesting... is it those that you can just plug into a power adapter?
thanks for the info and offer
will be going to ranmasatome place sometime this week to DIY
happy holiday
finally finish the DIY project
all thanks to ranmasatome
100% satisfied

err... actually this was a rushed job..almost quite "chin chai" (not fussily done). If he had time or left it with me to do it... it would have rubber sealing and the metal and plastic would have been cut nicer and straighter and also maybe figured out a way to incorporate a switch into it... but i felt bad holding him at my place so just did it as fast as i could... glad it didn't turn out too bad..haha..
yes certainly with rubber sealing will be good!!
humm... your 3 feet light casing being taken.. :P
hahaha.. how many fans you want to incoporate into that??hahhaha...
haha
2-4 fans split for 2 tanks.. :P
then in the middle put one 36W PL tube and ballast...
kidding on the PL light but fan is serious..
hehe.. u think that is advisable?
Think we should pm... lets not hog this thread..
Dnsfpl...hope it serves you well..![]()
