Some shots of an Apistogramma Agassizii 'Manicore' that I shot at Biotope

Pardon for the different framing and poor cleaning up of the pictures. Still trying to figure out to use Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Feel free to comment or share pointers on Apistogramma fish photography

PS : Thanks Thio for allowing me to shoot at the shop.

nice pic.. what's distinctive of the A. aga 'manicore'?
    The caudal tail patterns?
It's NOT "Chee lick", NOT "Chee Chee Licks"!!! Cichlids is pronounced as "Sick Lids"!!!!!

When shooting fish, try to use shutter speed of 1/125 at least... it is hand held...so this speed does help. Of course at this speed the camera will find it hard to get light at f10-16..so...thats why flash important..

Interesting...the manicore looks almost exactly like what Biotope sold to me as Ap. agassizii 'Tefe'. I think the mystery of my apisto's locality is finally solved. thanks nicholas!
