    i'm new here. just want to try putting a photo here.
    it's a very low tech tank with no light and co2. wonder will it last without all those features?
    just thinking without light and co2 maybe i won't have any algae problem

    hmm.. warning though, i suspect the grass-like plant on the wood might be mondo grass, which isn't really aquatic. If it is, it will survive for some time, but will not grow and will die after some time.

    Low tech means low light, not NO light. Without light any live plants will eventually die off. Their leaves are green, because they have chlorophyll, which means they have to photosynthesize to a certain extent.

    what light should i use? cause i'm afraid of algae. any recommandation and how many hours should i on it? thanks alot

    My tank size is 2 feet by 1.5 by 1.5 in size

    How you know i'm using a Dahz light?
