I have used potassium permanganate. just use a few grains.

You may have to get it from a scientific store.

I got mine from a friend.

I don't quarantine my plants. When I purchase new plants, I soak it in a diluted portion of water and bleech. It would kill snails. After which I allow the plants to soak in fresh water for a couple of hours. If you're worried about fresh water from the tap? Plants can adapt to it, unlike fauna.

Should be able to get it from NTUC's pharmacy. Get the crystals instead of the diluted solution. More economical

You are probably right. PP is not that toxic - so should be available.

PP will not kill snails. I think for that you should use bleach (as Aquaculture has said). PP will remove bacteria.
