    I came across an image on the internet, instantly thought of this thread and thought i'd see if the plant name was mentioned. Turns out it has been mentioned. So it seems a perfect match. Your plant obviously must be Eriocaulon setaceum.

    Yours is a rather deshevelled looking specimen though i must say. From how its supposed to look it is definately worth the time and effort getting it back to its healthiest!

    yes it is so sick and am gonna try snipping off the bottom and replanting and see how it goes

    plant saved!!! It seems it needed more time then most plants to get used to new environment... thanks to all who helped give me advise... always good to get more opinions to help reach my decision in this hobby... sometimes it takes a 3rd party to see the problem
