i am aware of that. thats why i was surprised to find babies around after all the big ones disappeared into my moss jungle 3 months ago.

the 5 bettas live happily ever after? cant put 2 of mine into a tank ;( they'll fight.

they are quite happy. though sometimes they want to fight, they just open their fins then slowly cool down. but no fights so far. just chasing each other. my bettas have been together since young so they do not fight with each other.

"rojak" moss
how do you grow your moss?
wire mesh or tied to something?

i got Java moss and String moss in the ratio 85:15
the first $9 of the java moss is tied on Wire mesh. the rest just dump into the tank. the string moss is tied to a pebble.
the tied up java moss is short and dense. the anyhow dump one is long and thin. the string moss spreads out far and wide but they are very thin.
