I set it up so quickly I didn't have time to take step by step pix actually
I look forward to new layouts from you... starting another one after May 31?
No, I bought these from Suntec... I don't think it's possible to pick and choose unless they feature a WYSIWYG section
Thanks bro![]()
I have bad and good news... let's start with bad... the eggs are gone and no fries in sightThe female immediately resumed her seductive behaviour and courtship is in progress now
Will update with some pix tomorrow.
Do the fish come with a good parental instinct? This may be why she ate the previous clutch of eggs.
Being young (which i assume they are) means they will have no experience of raising young. I found this was the case when my German BLue Ram Cichlids were spawning for the first few times. About 5/6th time lucky they succesfully raised there first brood.
Good luck Jervis!

Damaged Anubias nana 'petite' leavesCould it be the work of snails?

More than likely the culprit, I never trust snails as they always eat my plants in my tanks. I've tried a few variety of snails, and all have been guilty of snacking on my beloved plants.

when i was young whenever i saw a snail i would put salt on them
Would it work for Aquatic snails?
If im not wrong they die because of reverse osmosis when we put salt on them![]()
I used to make a very neat salt maze, and put them in the middle. Over time i got bored of seeing them not get out in time. So if they werent out within an hour i'd pour salt over the entire thing - killing it. If they escaped, i released them in the garden. Sick, but as a kid you never think of it.
I guess it technically would work for aquatic snails if you put them on land![]()
