    Jervis,
nerite snails do feed on my java ferns and nanas ,that happened when Ive when i did a clean up of my gsa during a wc previously. There was a breeder article on aro where they fed hikari crab cusine and algae waffers to them. This method ensures plants will be left untouch, but may cause water to be cloudy.

Currently, my nanas isnt as "well eaten up as yours", it just have the edge of the leaves nipped off, but java ferns have multiple holes in them and i had to trim the one with a large hole in it.

    Pelvicachromis taeniatus

Jervis, after seeing your masterpiece setup, am so tempted to buy a pair in my 2ft neon tetra tank. Like you mentioned, the purple belly of the female amazingly caught me love at first sight.

Where can I buy this pair and rough guide on its price? I'm new to them and like to start seeing some spawning too. Thanks.

these snails look different, they're nerites ? How about plants in your ada30? they are not eating up anything right? Would be good to have 1 nerite for every 20l of water incase you are worried about snail competition on algae. I have currently overloaded my with 2 in a 10L tank...

suddenly decommissioned, feels like being retrenched. It was an impressive tank while it lasted. Is the A&A tank using the same ada30 tank?

The A&A is using the Tetra nano tank... similar to this Hailea nano in dimensions and specs.

    An update.

Really can't stand their digging They are the king of landslides

The Hairgrass is showing runners which is quite a surprise actually considering I am using a much less fertile soil for this tank.

The amazing thing about this ADA Africana soil is its ability to really bring down pH... depending on the ratio of soil:water of course... my tank pH hovers around 4.6 to 5.0
