bought a Ehiem canister filter recently. model is 2222.
had been running for a few days on my tank already. today i want to register for the warranty, but it need the serial number.
anyone know where is the serial number? do i need to open up the filter and hunt for the serial number near the motor?

There should be a sticker on the filter itself.

Agree with BFG on the sticker though mine has worn off...
I believe the number is also chopped on the manual.

I finally uploaded an avatar and Cupid is dead!!!
It is hidden.You can try find it with a sticker inside the slot that used as a grip when moving the filter.
I never tried Eheim 2222 before, but i do have a Eheim 2226.
