Not much to update since most equipment have already been bought and are ready, just waiting for an additional 4-6 weeks for the HC to creep before progressing to phase 3 of my setup. This will include planting of the ferns and nanas. In the meantime, there will be no updates till then.

    Thanks.

phase 1 -> Leak test on 1FT cube, complete with filtration
phase 1A -> planting of HC emmerse form.
phase 2 -> rust proofing ironstand with anti rust primer + direct to rust paint
phase 2A -> soaking and bleaching of driftwood to remove tint.
phase 3 -> aquiring and planting/fixing ferns and nanas onto drift wood
phase 4 -> aquiring and planting stem plants
phase 5 -> test cycle and stability monitoring; includes fert and co2 adjustments, establishing regimes.
phase 6 -> migration of boraras B to new tank
phase 7 -> discommission of genoah tank

Very nicely grown HC! have been considering uprooting my glossos and replacing them with HC, but i think i will have problems rooting them in the water. Will be nice if some HC experts can share.

HC isnt ranked difficult to grow but it does pose problems for us trying to root them after filling the tank up. Ive have done growing HC emmersed form within the 1FT tank. U can check my threads on this aquascaping page.

glosso are ranked as difficult, if u can grow them successfully, it means you are doing well, no need to give up on that on move to HC which may not be significantly easier.
