    Not balloon rams but one of the aquarium bred variants, i.e. short bodied variant. There is a short bodied long fin variant as well.

    Sad but very true. M. ramirezi is my favourite dwarf cichlid and I've kept them every now and then over the past 8 years. These days...

    How do we differentiate the wild ones from the aquarium bred ones? Less blue?? For those in the know, please share.
