I have a 3 week old tanks with Hairgrass, moss, some stem plants, blue shrimp (same as malayan I think), cherry and crs.

I always notice the shrimps scavenging at the moss and hairgrass and initially I thought they are eating the hairgrass but I cant see any part missing so my question is are there some invisible algae that they are scrapping not seen to the naked eye?

nice question there! have been wondering about it for quite some time too. they're just picking away at my gravel most of the time.. i suspect they're picking at the micro algae or biofilm? i'm just guessing..

would be nice to hear from someone who knows!

    They're looking for leftover food...

    By nature, they're savagers.
