Yelo Fishians!

This is one fantastic forum ever! Started this hobby about a month back....my best friend got me hooked into freshwater fishies. His was a pearly scale haven while I started with 1 bluish betta, 1 guorami, 3 kinda large neon tetras and 2 leopard corys. All in a 1.5ft acrylic tank. Ya, i know its kinda ambitious...but its true
2 days later, my betta committed suicide by jumping out of my open tank and soon 1 by 1 just Sad! So i'm only left with 1 leopard cory. Well, i found out that my internal filter was partly to be blamed other than myself. Its too strong for my small tank and all the food that i fed just got sucked up. Poor fishies.
But i'm not giving up on this hobby..oh hell no. Did some intensive reading on the net for great tips ; so that's why i'm here in aquaticquotient! Hope all of you seniors out there will be much willing to share tips and ideas yea.
Sorry, not finished yet. Today, i did a major makeover on my fishtank. Invested in a rather good substrate(with CO2 injected), 4 plants inclusive of java fern on driftwood, 13 neon small tetras, 1 leopard cory, 2 otos and 5 malayan shrimps, a new external hanging filter and last but not least, a clip on fl lamp.

Well, for a start you can refrain from sms lingo.
Do take the time for your research before you take the plunge into some fauna.
There's lots of information for you to do a search.
But if its not avialable, just ask.
