Will be going down to Hong Kong in a couple of months time. Will definitely be spending some time at the Tung Choi Goldfish Street. The last time I went there, it was quite confusing, with too many shops. I didnt know which one to go to...

This time I hope to be organised. Any bros familiar with the scene there that can recommend some good shops to go to?

Not sure about lifestock (worried about customs mainly) but plan to get/look at interesting hardscape materials/equipments if there better selections/prices over there...

I suppose you have to hand carry it?
Or use fed ex and send it over to singapore and ask your family members to throw it in your tank

I don't think you can hand carry as there is a limit regulation on the amount of liquid you can carry. However, you can packed them in your luggage and check them in.

Do a search (e.g. "overseas" or something), this has been discussed in great detail previously.

isn't dangerous to put them into your checked in luggage considering how the airport ground staff treat your luggage? I guess its a risk to take. I've encountered where my luggage was totalled after my flight from singapore to US

These guys just simply throw your luggage around.

honestly, i don't think that handlers treat the boxes fishes are shipped in any more gently anyway. if they can survive the shipping box in large quantities, they can survive your hard suitcase with lots of clothing as padding

    Keyword being hard suitcase :P

I am more interested in equipment and hardscapes, most of the lifestock are available in Singapore already... unless something really interesting comes up...
