I do believe there are more than 16 planted tanks that can enter the competition. Maybe too shy to enter or more or less concern about position?
Well its a good way to see how we stand in the eyes of profession judge so that we can improve in our aquascape next year.
Hope they will be more workshop and AQ competition soon.![]()
something like a Tank of the month competition?
I do agree that some people are more interest in owning and growing different exotic plants. But owning them may or maynot improve your aquascape. Cheap plants usually are very good plants for doing a nice aquascape.![]()

Due to an oversight on our part, we failed to receive the posters from Japan. And hence the lack of posters this year.
For the submissions for next year, we will be starting to do collection of photos for any scapes that you guys come up with and prepare for submission come next year. This way, there wouldn't be a rush for submissions.
Should you need help in photographing your tanks, drop us a PM. Very soon, we will have our very own website and on the website will be various articles. Some of these articles are our translations of some interesting articles from AquaJournal. One such article will be on how to do a good photograph of your tank. Keep a watch for it.
In the meantime, do start planning on your new scape.
Happy scaping!

Actually we do have one of the highest per capita entry in the world... even beating JapanSecond only to Hong Kong... and possibly Taiwan.
Hi Guys,
I split the discussions on the "tank of the month" to a separate thread:

I have asked for some feedback from the mods on this.
