sad to see the swiss team go out. I watch the portugal vs czech republic match. was very entertaining i think. good goals. The crowd in the stadium was pack and dress in national team jerseys. Should be a very good atmosphere in there.

Cristiano Ronaldo is on form after scoring many goals and winning titles with Man Utd... He is a very confident man now... Portugal have high chance of winning the Euro cup! I am betting them to lift the cup against the odds of Holland, Germany, etc. I don't know... I might be wrong and the ball is always round and the title might go anywhere depending on the performance on their actual day I guess.
But I really hope this little genuis stay with Man Utd!!

I don't really fancy the portugese to beat the germans. Because at this point in time, i think the portugese don't have the right mentality (especially ronaldo with lots of $$$ on his mind and phil scholari already counting the $$$). Hence i'm going out on a limb here and back the germans to beat the crap out of portugal.
Croatia is too strong even for the never-say-die turkey and will possibly beat the crap out of turkey.
Holland will beat the crap out of russia and teach the English (and the swedes) how to play football.
Italy vs Spain is a tough one. Although Spain is one of the teams i backed before the tournament started, i don't think Spain has enough experience to beat the Italians. Plus, Italy has the luck. They will dive like nobody's business and win penalties and look totally shameless and win the game. Nobody is gonna beat the crap out of anybody though. It's gonna be a close one for this game.
My prediction:
Germany vs Croatia (Grudge match for the 2-1 loss)
Netherlands vs Italy (also another grudge match for the 3-0 loss)
Then the germans will kill off croatia with one ballack goal and the dutch will beat the crap out of the italians (again).
Then the dutch will beat the crap out of the germans and win this year's Euro 2008.
I see Portugal vs Spain in final, and Portugal winning!
I think we will have probably a Portugal v Netherlands final and The Netherlands winning Euro 08!
