    Hi Guys.

Please join me to say good bye my 3 yrs aqua tank. I will decommission my lovely tank next week. I do believe it will be a tied job for me.

    Tank Biography
Found in Jun 2005 near the rubbish shoot (someone thrown away)
    Tank dimension: 4ft x 18” x 18”
    Light: PL 36w x 2 / FL 30w x 3
    External Pump: Eheim 2228 x 1
Substrate: Lapis Sand with JBL aqabasis
    CO2: 2 bubbles per Sec
    Flora: many..
    Fauna: 30 Cardinal tetras, 8 Otos , 6 Corys , many Yamoto
    1 pair Agaz Mutum, 1 pair Bitea , 1 pair Viegita , 3 male D. filamentosus…… and many more.

After decommission some of the plants and fishes will move to the new tank, which’s about the same size 4ft x 20” x 20” but this time have to buy. No more free tank. So sad.

Lovely tank! I'm sure your new tank will be even nicer than this.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Just worry about Apisto, what will happen after move to new tank? They’re quite fragile.

Look at this, after I kept D. filamentosus, my cherry shrimps are lesser and lesser.

Beautiful fish, normally that's not a big issue if the new home is heavily planted. If you introduce them gradually with some of the old tank water in the new home or using the drip method,(instead of just dumping them into the new tanK) I'm sure they will be fine in the new home.
    ...I love rubies too ...

So nice to have a small group of Apistogramma inside a fairly large tank. Thanks for the inspiration... I think I will attempt that in my upcoming 4ft tank.

How many males and females do you have within that group?

    Well. Thanks for all compliments.

    Foreground is Elatine Traindra.
After counting, Total 6 pairs of Apistogramma + 3 male D.Filamentosus. They had spawned a few times in this tank but unfortunately all fry was eaten by other fish.
